As the international community of mountain medicine is gathering at Hathersage, UK as we speak, ICAR MEDCOM is also preparing for congress. We are looking at an extremely exciting week ahead of us : The ISMM World Congress will start tonight with the opening ceremony. We are proud to be participating in the International Hypothermia Day with Beat Walpoth on Wednesday 20th May and are then excited to be pursuing our own Spring Meeting together with Edale Mountain Rescue Team f

The next ISMM World Congress will be from 18 to 20 May 2026 based in the Peak District, in the United Kingdom! It will be hosting the International Hypothermia Day (IHD) and the ICAR MedCom will hold their Spring Meeting adjacent to the conference in the UK. Exciting to all be joining together again!
